Junior League of Gwinnett and North Fulton Counties Announces 2014-2015 Board of Directors

The Junior League of Gwinnett & North Fulton Counties Inc. (JLGNF) proudly announces the Board of Directors for the 2014-2015 Junior League year, led by President Kathryn Fletcher. Fletcher will serve a one-year term beginning June 1, 2014 through May 31, 2015.
Fletcher joined the Junior League in 2004 and has served in various capacities, including Treasurer, Finance Council Chair, Secretary, Community Vice President, and President Elect. In addition to her dedication and commitment to JLGNF, Fletcher serves as President of the Atlanta Chapter of Georgia Society of CPAs, is an alumni of the Leadership Gwinnett Class of 2014, and an alumni of the American Institute of CPAs 2013 Leadership Academy. Professionally, Fletcher is a Quality Control Manager at Draffin & Tucker, LLP a public accounting firm widely recognized as a leader in the healthcare industry.
Fletcher is honored to serve on the JLGNF Board of Directors with fellow members:

JLGNF’s Board of Directors ensures the future of the entire organization at all levels. Board members act as trustees and stewards on behalf of its members, including financial management of the League. The Board also provides guidance and helps govern the vision and mission across the Council system – which includes Community, Finance, Membership and Communications. The Board also ensures that all League programs are consistent with the League’s mission and that its efforts move the League forward according to annual strategic goals.
Since its affiliation with the Association of Junior Leagues International, Inc. in 1991, JLGNF has been at the forefront of community change by tackling issues such as children at risk, homelessness, literacy, childhood obesity, and self-esteem.


“As we begin a new year we are excited to expand our outreach to tween and teen girls and the promotion of our community programming “Strong Girls, Bright Futures”. Our hope is that young girls will know and experience strength, confidence, intelligence, ambition, creativity, and kindness through mentoring and collaborations with our community partners.” says Fletcher.
